The Alabama Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians Annual Membership Meeting
The annual meeting of ALACEP will take place on May 31 at 5:00 p.m. at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort Linkside Conference Center prior to the start of The EMerald Coast Conference. Reistration details can be found below.

EMerald Coast 2026

Join us this summer for the annual EMerald Coast Conference and earn CMEs in your sandals! Come examine Emergency Medicine trends, then catch up with friends – and bring your family to play on the Panhandle! We’re bringing together the best and the brightest of our participating ACEP chapters to cover a wide range of topics including sessions on leadership, burnout and advanced imaging.

Call for Abstracts
In addition to the general education lectures and workshops that will be presented during the conference, we are including an opportunity for academic involvement by EM and PEM residents, fellows, and medical students.
A poster presentation session will take place on Wednesday, June 8. Presenters will have the opportunity to discuss their posters, answer questions, and share ideas with other attendees during the session. Posters describing original research, novel case presentations, educational interventions, patient safety initiatives, or administrative projects will be considered. Additionally, the top posters, as voted on by a judging committee, will receive a cash award. EM and PEM faculty members are also welcome to participate, and we are particularly interested in providing a supportive and enjoyable academic atmosphere. Poster abstracts should be submitted via here by Friday, May 1 at 5:00 p.m.

The association’s members gather for continuing medical education at our Annual Conference where companies may exhibit and/or sponsor events, such as breaks, lunch and receptions.
