Michigan’s Crowding Forum

The Michigan chapter put on a crowding forum at the legislative luncheon during its annual meeting, which included representatives from the state hospital association as well as policymakers.  Materials dispersed at the forum included regulatory guidance in New Jersey, the New York boarding legislation, legislative and regulatory initiatives in Arizona and JCAHO guidelines. 

Massachusetts White Paper for Policymakers on ED Problems Including Crowding

The Massachusetts chapter also developed a white paper for legislators outlining ED problems including crowding. (White paper is available from the ACEP State Legislative Office.)
